You’re the President: The Worldwide Weapon You Carry Everyday
The President, of any country, has to carry around a bag of responsibility weighty and wide enough a dump truck would have trouble getting down the street with.
Decisions everyday affect their nation, the people and the world over. They have a support team providing resources and information that run through checks and balances, but they make the executive decision. When it comes down to crunch time, it’s on them.
They choose to launch the worldwide weapon of destruction and they choose the policies that improve people’s lives, create jobs, promote innovation, advance education and lead environmental and sustainable change.
The Actual Affect of a President
Unfortunately, despite their influential role as lead decision maker, their plans and goals get bogged down in levels of bureaucracy.
People in America believed change was coming with Obama. The rest of the world had the same hopes. (If you did not believe in positive change or vote for Obama, I’m surprised you’re reading this).
Yet those changes aren’t being felt. People are struggling. Challenge is essential to a purposeful life of happiness and growth, but unnecessary struggle and limited freedom of thought and choice are far from ideal.
Your Worldwide Weapon
It’s time we stop looking to the President, politics and experts for change. They’re caught up thinking and operating within an outdated mold careful not to break it. If something is going to break it, it’s avoided. Stalemate.
You, on the other hand, see things from a real world, human perspective and can envision change.
Believe it or not, you carry around responsibility just as weighty and wide on your shoulders everyday.
Your mind, thoughts and actions are a worldwide weapon of change and you are the president. You make the executive decision.
It’s a heady, possibly daunting thought to think of yourself with so much force, but it’s time to own up to the truth and start acting like the president you are. Take responsibility for people and world. You call the shots.
How to Use Your Worldwide Weapon
The actions we choose on a daily basis shape the world we live. They directly affect our microcosm of life, but also affect the world at large.
We have to face the challenge, accept the responsibility and rid any worry of criticism or doubt. We’re all presidents of our lives. When we recognize our autonomy, take responsibility for educating and implement best practices, we see results.
One man may not be able to create the change we want in the world, but if we each take steps to better our lives, look out for each other, practice integrity and act in accord with the natural world that gives us life, change will come.
When you act, we act. People often feel as though their actions alone aren’t significant. Of course they are significant!
They also feel as though they’re alone and ‘nobody else is doing it.’ In fact, people are doing it. All over people are changing their lifestyles and progressively working toward a better future.
Three cheers to the youthful generation pioneering the way. If you’re older, hop on the hip train and get with it.
Lead by example. Be the change. Listen to Gandhi.
I choose to use my worldwide weapon to learn everyday, connect with people, connect with nature and work towards a life and world I see fit. It doesn’t matter what others think, it doesn’t matter what others do, although it is nice to know there are thousands and thousands of People Presidents making similar executive decisions in their lives.
Choose health and instigate action. Eat right, exercise. The after shocks will leave you well.
Choose life. Act in accord with nature. Respect the environment. Play your part. Lead the change. Set an example. Do whatever you can to create harmony among people and planet. The after shocks will leave our world renewed.
What actions will you take, Mr., or Ms., President?
